sidebar but do y’all remember/know of the original big 3?

Really wasn’t. I’m a big cudi fan and it was always obvious he wanted to separate himself from mainstream hiphop early on in his career. It wasn’t until later on where cudi became less picky about working with other artists and making traditional rap music. Cudi was really hot back then but he was never going to be apart of any traditional “big 3”. The statement itself goes against his morals as an artist. Especially early on in his career.
Fr though no one’s ever really heard J Cole diss. Might just be where he shows why he shouldn’t be number 3
He tried with Diggy Simmons and lost
Oh so KTT likes J Cole again?
That's like the 4th time you guys came back around
mixtapes dont count now?
I like his mixtapes tbh, album wise though he's weak and doesn't compare to the other 2 artists.
This wasn’t a thing lol just a photo shoot
The original big 5 was Wale, Cudi, BoB, Asher, and Charles Hamilton. This before drake or Cole or Kendrick came through they were all late blog bloomers
It was, these was the next stars deemed by XXL which had all the weight in the world at that time
I remember Wale blocked me on Twitter for @ing him saying he look like a leave skid marks on hospital gowns.
He definitely don’t want smoke fr. Lil guy lol
XXL hyped them up as the next stars of the new gen at the time
right after the gangsta rap era
I get it, it’s just hilarious in retrospect m. Probably meant the world at that time
It was, these was the next stars deemed by XXL which had all the weight in the world at that time
XXL predicting pandemics
Really glad the Kendrick prince comparison has been established
It’s so funny seeing people lie to themselves about prince to make that line go harder
Shoehorning yourself as the smaller guy is a choice
dudes over there finally reached the early 2010s
Ahmet Ertegün was instrumental in the careers of many iconic Black soul artists, such as Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, and Otis Redding. While Ertegün was a pioneering figure in his support for Black artists during the segregation era, he was part of a broader movement in the music industry that sought to bring Black music to wider audiences, both in America and internationally. He was also involved in songwriting, producing and development for his artist that’s why they called him the architect of soul. He was also capitalist at the end of the day and there are definitely some questionable things he had done but the influence cannot be denied.

No one thinks that’s what it means. Because that’s not really how the legacies look anymore
Go to any college campus they rocking with prince over Michael I promise
I'm pissed I didn't get to make this.
S*** will have 1000 pages if we get even one full diss track outta this.

Maybe next stars but calling them the big three when cudi made completely dif music than either drake or wale makes it a dense statement. Cudis music was never going to be accepted in the mainstream like drake or early wale. His music is too weird and experimental. That’s why I don’t like the whole “cudi was apart of the first big 3” thing.
Back to Back absolutely put a tombstone on Meek Mill’s career seriously.
Back to back dug the grave, then the recent s*** might be his tombstone moment lol.
I get it, it’s just hilarious in retrospect m. Probably meant the world at that time
Yeah that s*** was corny in hindsight lmaoo
I didn’t say anything about losing. I just mean the the noise that comes with a rap beef
Drake a legend music period. It’s not about stans. He too necessary to the eco system and I too prolific
He is a legend. No one is denying that lol. The nigga is my most played artist. I walked 30 minutes to the store to buy a copy of Thank Me Later.
Yes, all the people who first heard of him from Marvin’s Room crossing over to pop radio are still gonna listen to him and his numbers will be fine. But losing in a bad fashion would be a stain because he cares how his pen is regarded despite his numbers.

Always been Prince > MJ
Drake has seen the worst case scandal in terms of clowning / “exposal” reaction from the pusha been back to the fall out from writing scandal.
He should just have fun with this knowing his career and legacy pretty much bullet proof. Do this for the sport
Even Meek came back from back to back. No one actually thinks diss songs are meant to be career enders.
I'm pissed I didn't get to make this.

current OP didn't even copy and paste the lyrics
