elderIt wasn’t a crazy assumption from Drake is my point. I’m not super locked in on k dot but def payed attention for most of his career, he’s a great lyricist. But just because you are doesn’t mean you can engage in battle (ex. Cole)
For example a lot of people online was telling Drake to step aside because Cole was who they thought would be the better equipped emcee to battle Kendrick.
People confuse lyricism with ability to diss effectively, confused all the time
Man Control wasnt even a diss and was and still is a talking point and treated as a diss
Thats a very clear mainstream sign that if Kendrick actually beefed, he would come with even more smoke. The fact his competitive bars got people going mad said it all for me
Not to mention his diss towards Shyne and the fact you can find old videos of him battling outside his school. He was born in this s***
