Aks last stream was really interesting on how Drake uses relationships and doesnt maintains them which grows resentment within media, rappers and execs.
Apparently Drake operates outside of the industry because he does noting but drop music. No drops for radios, no drops for ticket promos, no roll out plans with the label, no budget meetings etc.
He just delivers the music and no other communication with Republic aside from that.
I was wondering if this mode of operating is normal for superstars or out of the norm?
That s*** is only viable if you a big enough superstar like Drake. He doesn't need to go through the industry hoops and allat since the fans will show up no matter what. It's always good to build relationships with radio DJs tho.
