I don’t think you’re putting 2 and 2 together that Like That wouldn’t have even happened unless he inserted himself in Metro/Future personal issues with Drake lmao.

Again it was unknown Future & Drake fell out. Public was still under the perception Drake & Future close friends. Kendrick not gon show up to a Future session talking about some “fuck Drake” and expecting that to fly lmao.

The only way occurs is if Future tells him what’s going on and basically is pushing Kendrick to get involved lmao.

Just like Drake wouldn’t have did a Baby Keem feature and think he could come in the studio dropping “fuck Kendrick” bars and it’d fly. The only reason he would do some s*** like that is Baby Keem let him know they fell out and that’s the exact type of vibes he want on the song

Kendrick didn’t get personal on Like That but inserted himself into the personal beef others had with Drake. So you can’t do that then backtrack and say you meant to just have friendly fun lmao

Him doing it on a Future/Metro song was cause they called him up and let him know about their own personal issues with Drake and gave him the push to do it on their song lmao.

He wouldn’t have came into the studio with Future, one of Drake’s closest industry friends, on some “fuck Drake vibes” unless he was informed of their personal fallout and knew that was acceptable.

Kendrick & Drake rivalry (pre Like That) was never personal. It was just industry rivalry. He legitimately fell out with Future for personal issues tho. My point is if you are so called “doing a friendly fade” it’s not on a song with niggas who actually got legit personal issues with Drake lmao

First sentence is right, however it seems in reality Kendrick was likely lying and just saying that to position himself as the “good guy” optics wise. (“I didn’t wanna act like this you made me!!”)

He absolutely intended for a full beef to happen from the get go. He joined a song with 2 niggas beefing with Drake to do a Drake diss. That’s not a friendly fade.

The biggest flaw is the fact he’s pretending he didn’t want to get into a full personal beef while going out of his way to get involved in other people’s personal beef with Drake. It would be more respectable if he just said he wanted a fade from the get go

My gf never hated Drake but she definitely wasn’t a fan lol I remember I asked her if she wanted to go see the IAAB tour with me and she just had no interest in it. She def hates him now though lol she wasn’t even a fan of Kendrick before I just think she don’t like the dude lol
