    it don't matter

Kendrick was always gonna win this battle

He embodies "real hip hop", is one of the best lyricist of his generation, and most importantly, he had the culture behind him.

You think hip hop would ever side with a biracial Jewish Canadian over Kendrick

    Be real

Shut up. Drake is the biggest artist in hip hop. He always had a chance of winning. Kendrick just out maneuvered him and dropped better diss tracks. You guys just conveniently forget he beat Meek.

I mean the casuals are the ones who determined Kendrick the victor in this.

Battle rappers and neutral fans of rap saying Drake won. Kendrick got furries, twitch streamers, and anime conventions making Tik toks to his songs.

    You watch furry tik toks?

I disagree with a lot of this. Kendrick did show versatility I guess but I don’t think the songs were very good. 6:16 and MTG were both very forgettable. Euphoria and Not Like Us were solid but I still feel like nothing he put out in his actual diss tracks matches the tone and delivery from Like That. Like That is the best verse he put out in this whole thing.

As far as quotables go I think Drake beat him handily. Especially when it comes to flips and rebuttals. Drake had something to say about a lot of shots thrown at him and the way he was flipping disses was very good. Drake had that Prince/MJ angle in a chokehold in particular. Kendrick responded to the contract splits but didn’t really flip much else. He was more focused on getting his shots in which is cool if you fw that. I prefer a mix of offense and defense tho.

Felt like Drake had the best flows in this beef too.

Kendrick was supposed to stomp Drake with bars and his signature cadence and delivery but he was lacking in those aspects for whatever reason.

Big fan of both but nah I disagree

Kendrick put on an absolute clinic

I know every diss track from both sides nearly word for word and I’m the type of guy that would actually accurately rap that s*** for fun too, correct tone cadence and all

That said these Kendrick verses have been some of the most fun verses to rap in years, the things he does with his flows and cadences and delivery is just incredible and his voice switching and commitment to his performance is spectacular

Drake is spitting bars and he got that good old fashioned effortless Hovish flow and occasionally he’ll switch it up with a drill flow or melodic flow and that s*** be amazing too but in this battle specifically he just sounds boring in comparison to Kendrick

Heart part 6 is the most lifeless tune in the whole beef, and releasing that after the 2nd verse on NLU is crazy.

Push ups is Drake's best just because of how airtight it was. When we got to Family Matters he was still doing this 20 v 1 bs and wasted bars and a good chunk of the song on Rocky, Weeknd and Rozay like he didn't have his hands full with dot already, but you live and you learn.

Man he played into the 20v1 so his fans can backpedal for him after the inevitable L but everybody saw through it. He tried to shift the dialouge by doing everything but outrapping Kendrick

Rumors said Kendrick had 5 more tracks

How much deeper could Kendrick have gone? Is there info Kendrick has on Drake that hasn’t put on a track yet?

I don’t know how much more the beef could have gone

Really interesting if we’ll ever see those songs or lyrics will eventually release in some form on a future Kendrick song

I am still puzzled that the “hoes” that Kendrick dissed and said he and the culture hated and confused themselves with real women(SexyRed,CityGirls etc) did come out and support Drake and diss Kenny back.

Would have been a good move for Drake.
He even could have built on his setup that Kenny was a wife beating cheater who hate sexual free women because he can’t get any sweet time from them.
