You guys are bunch of nerds, going at on here on a Monday morning.
I have a girlfriend i just walked her to her car so she can go to work this morning.
I ask myself, idc about other people's opinion on music
Takeover had facts, while Ether had Cock-a-fella records. That's the easiest choice in the world for me
I respect that but at the same time who gives a f*** about what you think? It goes both ways. I bump both honestly

Simp behaviour
hate to sound like a drake d*** rider cause im really not but kendrick verse is really not that impressive and this 'beef' is cringe on multiple levels
Like That audio has got over 11 million views on YouTube and is still in the top 7 trending. They really should make a video for this. Would be a lost opportunity

Yeah when the buzz dies down ppl will realize this is a mid verse for dot
That lame ass ahh ad lib too
Surprisingly yeah
As much as I like Drake this might be his biggest L lol
Nah that Pusha T s*** still got it for sure, had that nigga crying at the barbershop
I respect that but at the same time who gives a f*** about what you think? It goes both ways. I bump both honestly
Idk how that had anything to do with the conversation but that goes both ways, I obviously don't care about what anybody else says or plays. All that comes with an opinion, the comment I replied to was what I thought to be stupid. Music's subjectively is up to anyone to find value in the works and on a forum it's makes more sense to support your own opinion, than fall in line with the "consensus"
But that's just me

Well I’m here whilst I wait for my wife to wake up. What does that make me?
Responses to control and a straight up diss are different. Them niggas was supposed to respond to Control lol but it wasn’t like Kendrick’s verse was a diss in the context that people have attempted to make it seem.
Kendrick’s control verse and his verse on Like that aren’t the same, the only thing similar is that he mentioned Drake. Like that is a verse straight up targeting Drake, Cole and the big 3. So that’s why the ball is in Drake’s court .

It’s very forced

Thank you
Tbh, I see more Kendrick defenders than Drake defenders itt
And it's usually like that outside the Drake section. It looks like Kenny's fans only chronically online when it comes to commenting on Drake and not breaking down lyrics
You missed this thread when it was at its peak. Lol Drake Stans been got washed, atp it’s just short jokes. Every now and then you get a paragraph of actual discourse. Once Kendrick Stans started coming in with the memes it was over. It’s just a chat thread now.
Niggas really been complaining about that for 23+ years lmfao
He was right
im a super ugly truther don’t take anything I say seriously
Kendrick diss very overrated as far as disses go. I do believe he probably got some real bars in tuck anticipating response.
But just this verse is being waaaay hyped on recency bias.
With that being said, I want these fools back and forth at each other necks so I really hope it continues

It’s not just recency bias, Kendrick and drake both plateaued as artists and kind of need this to help them bounce back. We need that Blueprint Stillmatic era and then they get a second wind and go on releasing for many years

Lowkey I'm only itt because it's like the only one popping
I came back to a damn near dead KTT
Jay himself admitted he lost, why can't you
In a recently-published oral history on The Blueprint via DefJam, then-Roc-A-Fella Records A&R Lenny S. talked about the time both diss tracks were out and how Jay took his loss to Nas in stride.
Lenny recalled how Hot 97 did a poll on the radio comparing "Ether" to "Supa Ugly" — Jay's response to the Nas diss track — and how everyone had voted for the former.
"It was like, 'Jay's career is over. He's done," Lenny said.
"'Ether' was f**king unstoppable, don't get me wrong, but you can't end somebody's career by a song. And that was the sentiment in New York, the tri-state area, and the radio. It was like, 'Jay's over, Nas reigns supreme, Nas is the king, Jay's finished,'" he continued.
From there, Lenny recalled contacting Jay on a pager, to which the rapper told him to call him.
"Jay's on the phone with me, convincing me that this has to happen in life. We have to go through ups and downs. We have take losses in order to get greater wins. We have to fall in order to get up. He just spent 15 minutes convincing me why this was necessary and that it's alright," Lenny said. "This man just took a loss. A public loss to a rival rapper. And he's convincing me, a young A&R, and obviously his friend and his brother, of like why I need to be okay with this and let it go and not take it to heart. It just taught me as a man how to be a more mature adult. And to look at the glass as half full instead of half empty. Jay took the time when he could have been selfish, or pissed off, and took the time to school me. And that's from The Blueprint."
Jay isn’t right either necessarily. It’s all opinion based.
Professional UFC /boxing judges get ridiculed constantly for close decisions.
Again, all opinion.
Your point makes no sense. I don’t agree with how Jay ranks his albums best to worst. No one is right no one is wrong

That’s what I want. I want back and forth late night freestyle type drops
