i think the rolling stone article is a bit far but i think kendrick brought up interesting and valid points w the atlanta stuff, which i think is just an extension of how much he hates bro lol

i think one of if not the biggest through lines of the latter half of drake’s career has been his penchant for absorbing artists and sounds from other places before he hops to the next wave, a big part of why the post 2016 output sounds a lot less inspired, and while i don’t think they’re necessarily linked it is interesting that white artists and corporate giants do the exact same thing in a broader sense
