XavierManeKendrick got 3 top 10 songs, no album. We are in uncharted territory.
Did any artist ever achieve that with no album out? I am pretty sure Drake had more songs in the top 10 when he dropped Scorpion and CLB but just loosies?

HURRYUP HYKEEMThe last part is interesting cause with tpab he gave it his all, I think he didn't get the reception he wanted from it , which was to change The world so there was a bitterness in his work moving forth. DAMN was a kendrick album before MMTBS was , so I get it but I do think he tried his best

He is just human but to me it comes across that he's forcing platitudes and rejecting the outside from all sides
Even with TPAB, which is one of my favorite works of all time because of the collaborative nature of it and soul, I didn't get he wanted to save the world. More like he wanted to be a voice for and to everybody on the cover, it was real LA centric. I'd be lying if I said I thought he wasn't well read, because he wouldn't be able to rap the way he does if not. I'm not sure what's the block I feel in his music but I do hear him trying to figure it out
