Ok really the top 20 the most solid and after 25 it definitely gets dicey but here’s my working list

    30. Drake
    29. Eminem
    28. Andre 3000
    27. Lupe Fiasco
    26. Metacritic Pitchmar
    25. Pusha T
    24. Jadakiss
    23. Method Man
    22. Prodigy
    21. Black Thought
    20. Chuck D
    19. Kool G Rap
    18. Redman
    17. Common
    16. Raekwon the Chef
    15. Ghostface Killah
    14. Slick Rick the Ruler
    13. Big Daddy Kane
    12. DMX
    11. Snoop Doggy Dogg
    10. LL Cool J
    9. Lil’ Wayne
    8. Scarface
    7. 2pac
    6. Ice Cube
    5. KRS One
    4. The Notorious B.I.G.

    The Holy Trinity:

    3. Hova
    2. God’s Son
    1. The God

Having Slick Rick that highly shows that you are a nostalgia merchant and/or add names just to make it seem like you are knowledgeable about the topic

What are your arguments for him almost entering the top 10 of all time?

How tf am I slandering him? Not being a top 15 rapper of all time does not mean he isn't good or a legend...

    Valid ranking

  • nice to have a f***ery oriented thread but respekfully - the "diss" want really all that- its just the usual kenny being the darling of the industry.

Infrared and what would meek do were hella direct - this was just some shots coupled with future + metro shots.

When's the next album coming - i think we can hear drake responding only after that.

If you listen to most other 80s rappers it's obvious how ahead of his time he was. On his first album he already sounds like he's mastered rapping - that same kind of effortlessness as mixtape era Wayne - in an era when most rappers had a very rigid, forced flow and delivery. He's also a great storyteller. If you agree he's a "legend" you probably know all this and I don't see why you would be so shocked at somebody putting them in their Top 20, even if you don't personally agree.

I would be interested in seeing your Top 30 rappers. Not trolling

Well, you are not entirely wrong and it is a factor that you should include but at the same time you got to keep in mind that it is an argument that you can't use on current gen of rappers. It is not possible to be ''ahead of time'' these days. That doesn't mean we should dismiss it, but it shouldn't have more weight than stuff like actual quality projects and longevity.

My main problem with his ranking is pretty much how low other legends have been placed. Look at his list and some of the names in the 20-30 spots. It's extremely harsh to put him that far ahead of some of those names

Who would have thought the guy who made Folding Clothes would end up becoming the best out of the Big 3? Shows you how hard work, consistency and patience pays off in the end.

    Question for drake stans

With the premise of drake responding to pusha t, who was undoubtedly selling far less than kendrick

If drake is the better rapper, which you all agree he is...

Then why would he waste this beautifully placed opportunity to ruin kendrick's career? One of his only real competitors...

seems like the perfect opportunity to show off his skills?

He can’t ruin Kendrick’s career, Kendrick is a goat for a reason.

No one can ruin anyone’s career tbh

Over a decade into their careers people are pretty much set on how they feel

People aren’t going to suddenly disavow Drake and call him a fake rapper leading him never selling another record

People aren’t going to come out against Kendrick and finally call him a corny scaring the hoes rapper

That could be the emoji he would use, while posting a photo of himself making a duck face and writing a caption like
“ They think I’m ducking him but
Me and my dog are on a duck hunt, but is this duck worth it?
Games up, Nintendo old school like my flow”
