Drake 100% planted the items Kendrick used for his cover art. Here’s a breakdown of the video of the items he once possessed & a snapshot of The Mark NYC’s hotel lobby CCTV that surfaced.

The video was recorded 2 days ago. The laptop in the video is a Panasonic CF-31 from 2012 and the person clearly recorded this video on an older device, probably to avoid being traced easier. Besides the items from the cover, they included a Brooklyn newspaper from 5/8/24, some Canada souvenirs and a bag from Holt Renfrew which is a department store in Yorkville, Toronto.

It was recorded on the rooftop of a building on the East River in Brooklyn. It seems to be taken at Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge at 1 Hotel, which is next door to the building where Kendrick’s penthouse is at. At the end of the video they show themselves by the walkway and a pillar of the bridge.

The CCTV snapshot is from the lobby of The Mark hotel in NYC at 3:19am on 1/22/23, after he got back from a party after his show. Drake stayed here for his Apollo Theater show on 1/21/23 and 1/22/23. Some of these items like the jewelry receipt and medicine didn’t exist yet. You can see two people in his crew - one of his security guards on the left and OVO Juju who wore Pharrell’s jewelry in the Family Matters video on the right. The person in the wheelchair has been seen with Drake in 2018 and a Snapchat video with DJ Khaled.

Drake went to Popular Jewelry in Chinatown on 7/17/23 before one of his IAAB tour shows. The name on the receipt is his stylist, Drew Ferguson. The Ozempic box in the video also shows the date of 7/17/23. How would Drake possess two items with the same dates from opposite sides of the country when he was already in NYC? This makes no sense.

An empty bottle of adderall was also shown in the video, which was not on the cover for Kendrick’s song.
