This beef has been years in the making. Family Ties, Rich Spirit. Kendrick has been telling him he's a dead man for a while now.

I don’t think Drake had a single truthful jab during this entire encounter:

“Don’t even go back to your hood and plant no money trees” = Forget who it was but there was a tweet that said Kendrick gives back a lot every year to his hometown

“I heard that one them little kids might be Dave Free’s” = He’s the godfather to one of Kendrick’s children, there is no evidence to suggest that he is anything more than that

“I meltdown the chains that I bought from your boss…” = He still has the Pharrell chains in the Family Matters music video

“A cease and desist is for hoes, can’t listen to lies that come outta your mouth” = Metro posted proof that Drake tried to get Like That blocked from radio

“Why did you move to New York? Is it cause you living the bachelor life?” = Whitney posted a picture from the NY penthouse last year

“They hired a crisis management team to clean up the fact that you beat on your queen” = Whitney’s brother supporting Kendrick disproves this

The pre existent context was for the jokes drake gets for acting “tough” in his raps that have been prevalent for years.

Kendrick is talking about snatching chains and crashing out on niggas on like that. Drake knows he was a suburban child actor he’s not trying to put on a facade of toughness he just wants Kendrick to stop acting like he’s like that just cause he grew up in the hood

Taylor Made Freestyle gotta be the worst aged track in the entire saga. Overly confident Drake engages with probably his most creative move, trying to get ahead of the pedo stuff and using A.I Tupac to troll Kendrick. Pretty f***ing corny, but the beat is cool, Drakes verse is good and overall it was kind of funny at the time

Also the writing on Kendrick’s song are so good it’ll convince anyone that those things are real. These tracks are incredibly well written and I don’t think Drake realized he’d get toasted the way he did. Literally picked him apart piece by piece. Left nothing.
