He wanted this back in 2017 but Top stepped in and deaded it and now that Kendrick is on his own imprint, he finally got to do what he always wanted.
Dropping Mr. Morale not only for himself but to show people he was not a "savior" or perfect figure and that he was flawed. So when he eventually got into this beef, it wouldn't be as easy to shatter his image when he already poked at himself.
