a beautifully produced visual that was unique and disrespectful
and even lyrics on the video so you don’t miss a single bar

MongrelHeartCan't be overstated what a win it is for music that Kendrick so thoroughly dominated the narrative of this entire beef and the only thing he did was upload songs
He took control of the beef from the start.
Drake master plan was to drop Push Ups, get him, his team and the streamers on his payroll to put pressure on Kendrick to drop quickly, have him take the bait and drop a response with Drake immediately dropping Family Matters on him and have him scrambling on defense with him coming out on top.
Kendrick obviously thought about this, and decided since Drake took almost 3 weeks to respond, he would to. So he spent those 3 weeks crafting all the songs we've heard and tweaking a few parts of them along to way. He dropped on his own time out of nowhere, immediately throwing Drake off.
