Mirror hit hard. Leaving out the personal details, it felt like I was really choosing me. I was driving on these desert roads low key not knowing where the next gas station was and yet the best reality of mine manifested from it
I love that. To me it's about overcoming the patterns we have, illuminating our insecurities and missteps, and growing into people that have so much more love for the ones around us. None of us are saviors fr, and I hope you keep walking down a beautiful road for your own happiness
Oh yeah
It's like I said, this dislike was (barely) unspoken in the background for the last decade of these guys careers. It was undeniably an energy fueling them to some extent, but we could never tell exactly how much or why. And just when we thought we might never find out, whatever went down with First Person Shooter caused all this
There will be a documentary about this s***, and I can't wait for it

Real s*** I never thought we were gonna hear them trade bars ever after nothing happened in 2017
Then f***in For All The Dogs kicks s*** back up
I am wondering how much this is gonna damage Drakes career
Other than him being a bit of a meme rn to the general public
I wonder how these allegations effected his core team and the people around him
@Real seems like a reliable source and said Drake straight up deleted his teams group chat
I also wonder if this is gonna turn off other artists from working with him
The Heart Part 6 sounds like Drake all alone, with no team behind him
For All Your Dogs getting buried, thats a K with all these 9's, he goin see Pet Cemetery
Headshot for the year, you better walk around like Daft Punk
You're playin' nerdy with Zack Bia and Twitter bots
But your reality can't hide behind wifi
Your lil' memes is losin' steam, they figured you out
The forced opinions is not convincin', y'all need a new route
F*** a rap battle, this a long life battle with yourself
Beat your ass and hide the Bible if God watchin'
Why you trollin' like a b****? Ain't you tired?
Tryna strike a chord and it's probably A minor
No, you not a colleague, you a f***in' colonizer
Its dark as f*** but "your sons a sick man with sick thoughts I think niggas like him should DIE" was SOOO necessary to say.
It's not a favorite but it's very much an important one. As that line was the line that changed drakes career forever
Oh yeah

"In the epic Jay-Z and Nas beef, Hov competed by bigging up his commercial accomplishments and knocking Nas’ pro-Black messaging: “shit is garbage, what you tryna kick knowledge?” Nas clapped back by lamenting, “You traded your soul for riches.” Fans debate Jay-Z vs. Nas to this day because their approaches and career paths are so different that the debate becomes a litmus test for what kind of rap fan you are. Do you prefer the top-selling artist with hits and mass appeal, or the artist that has hits, but also tends to eschew mass appeal for experimentation? Do you want your fave to be ubiquitous like early 2000s Jay-Z, or to take their time in between projects so they can come back rapping backward stories like “Rewind?”
These kinds of debates would permeate a full-fledged Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef — if it happens. Kendrick and Drake respectively embody what rap was and what it’s become. Choosing between the two walks along dividing lines that shape one’s hip-hop philosophy. Thankfully, their feud doesn’t appear to be deeper than rap — but sometimes, that’s all the set-off one needs."

They both represent different visions for hip-hop and what it is and what it can be
IMO the way I see it is that Drake represents its decadent "gentrification" so to speak, increasingly commercial, ready to sell his soul to the highest bidder rather than sticking to principles of hip-hop culture
Kendrick represents rawness and authenticity, staying true to the game and the artform, and even though he got popping, he never abandoned the principles
🫂
Sometimes when people say s***, I wonder who they're trying to convince
Everyone else, or themselves
drake stans witch-hunting because metro up
Drake stans crying about Kendrick resorting to "cancel culture tactics" and then turning around trying to Metro in trouble for 12 year old tweets
The entirety of The Heart Part 6 is just Drake reciting KTT posts and making Trumpian projections while trying not to cry
"You really got this s*** burnt out tho" Brother YOU are the one who told him to DROP DROP DROP like?
Wait Drake also said Kendrick team was paying for twitter bots on heart part 6 after Kendrick said that s*** on 6:16? Brother is shameless
i think he mighta been blacked out drunk when he made this honestly
I dont think kendrick will drop again. Hes on his emotional maturity s*** and realising that the pedo accusations were morally wrong and is choosing to be the bigger man. What do yall think?
that's you thinking kendrick won
hit me with the "nuh-uh that's you" cope like Drake on heart part 6

feels like the entire culture is turning their backs on drake
What artist are gonna go to OVO fest this year?

LeBron must be sick rn.
Who knows what people in drakes personal life is thinking rn. Drake prob moving like boJack horseman
ok how bout some Drake bars
That "Kendrick just said something, somebody give him a Grammy rn"
Also the line where he says if you wanna take it up for Pharell come get his legacy out my house
Drake had some good lines in this beef before he decided to settle for TMZ antics
No drizzy
Obviously bro 🫂🫂🫂🫂
Crazy thing is even if both artists came with strong receipts (kendrick has drake has not)
We have seen artists survive domestic abuse controversy.
We have never seen artists survive pedo controversy
And that’s the difference
Cole knew
Think how crazy it is to do what he did.
Taking down a whole song is insane.
Kendrick was seen dining with Jay and Beyonce in NY a little while after Mr Morale.
Rest assured they are fully aware and onboard with what’s happening. This is industry wide and everyone has a stake in it.
Any media still talking about this as some silly rap beef is compromised.
Kendrick really did irreparable damage to Drake's career and he will never forget this. Hate to say it but in the future I can really see Kendrick's life in danger from Drake's wrath
Its dark as f*** but "your sons a sick man with sick thoughts I think niggas like him should DIE" was SOOO necessary to say.

Another thing was that he def has done his research. He was very kind to Adonis and Sandra on the song, didn't put them down at all.
I think the diss would've been too much for people if he went at the whole family maliciously, but he treaded that line extremely well.
