Metro absolutely flipped the “make some drums” s*** on him and had niggas dissing him for a free beat to the point where BBL Drizzy was trending.

I give Drake his credit where it’s due - flipping the Prince/Mike Jack line on Push Ups was excellent work.

The attempt to flip the A Minor line was weak as hell. And not because of the lack of B Sharp, I didn’t know that on first listen and it doesn’t really matter cause the concepts there. But it’s just a weak flip.

The Prince Mike Jack line worked because he took one of Kendrick’s hardest lines and sonned him with it. With this flip he’s telling him to be sharp. His response to a hard ass bar accusing him of being a pedophile is to tell Kendrick to be sharp. It’s just weak

Depends what you mean by level headed tbh

Drake has the much more rabid fanbase as evidenced by the drake thread on this site, which is probably the single most concentrated drake fandom on the internet aside from the private discords they hang out in lol

Kendrick has much less of a cult fanbase, so that kind of internet toxicity and groupthink isn't as prominent. Although the west coast is definitely heavily biased toward kendrick. Neutrals generally seem to side with Kendrick, although a little less so after the heart pt 6 dropped

I find the drake nuthuggers and the kdot pulitzer polishers equally annoying

All jokes aside it would've unironically been better if Drake went with this approach and broke down exactly how he tricked Kendrick, rn I don't see much reason to believe it
