He definitely thought Family Matters was the nuke.
saying it wasnt the nuke is pure cope. he literally tried to buy kendricks childhood whip for the video for a 7 minute song.
Didn’t Drake post that he hasn’t pushed the red button after family matters?
Yeah but let's be real, the only people waiting on that s*** now are Drake stans desperately tryna cling to something lol
ak switching to kendrick in real time is hilarious

Omg...
rick ross kinda started it by saying taking drake to the hood to hang with the niggas was a part of his growth
but not like us really drives the point home
this might be a long summer
Nah it’s an industry takedown so rightfully imo it made sense to also acknowledge the others.
He just ain’t realize it was too much for 1 person to handle
Its obvious at this point.
Best move is to retain, and respond smartly.
Future & Metro basically recruited Kendrick to do all this to begin with so I feel like that’s not lost on him
He isn't really saying anything about them and again, he already addressed both on push ups while this nigga has been dissecting you for a week
drake still trying to rap at others like its still a 20v1 on fm just showed how insecure he is to actually just go at kendrick, hes done
I think what real said makes some sense. He really thought it would be the killer track. Kill everybody and go on vacation
If Drake has a million fans i am one of them. If Drake has ten fans i am one of them. If Drake has one fan then that is me. If Drake has no fans that is because i am no more on the Earth. If the world is against Drake I am against the world. I love Drake until my last breath.
Honestly worth another thread (after all this is over obviously) but this truly feels like one of those events that have had so many little things happened that basically culminated to a single moment and now the fallout from all of it is playing out in real time. The bigger he got as an artist the more push back he got and whether justified or not at a certain point that will start to eat at anyone, especially for someone who I believe genuinely does love the genre. I think the more that happened the more his persona started to shift into a more paranoid state of mind for him which probably coincides with getting involved with people outside of his immediate circle that gave him the bravado to talk more recklessly which really goes against a lot of what he stood for in the beginning. Like I was listening to Video Girl off of RFI a few days ago and I was blown away that he literally is everything he talked about in that song. It really was one of those moments where I was wondering like I wonder how he really does feel about where he’s at now and if he’s actually happy despite all he’s accomplished ya know?
i was listening to Where To Now, and when he says "it was worth it", the question that needs to be answered is was it really worth it?
In 2011 he was the still the superstar we know now, and Marvin's room being the megahit it was proved that his vulnerability is what set him apart from the rest, despite all the type of nigga jokes and the memes etc.
We've even seen it with Honestly Nevermind, nobody else could make that album and it still be successful. He didn't have to follow that up with Her Loss, his spot wouldn't have been lost.
No matter if he really chose to do this mob s***, or if him being around the wrong people forced his hand, the question is was it worth it at the end of the day
The real winner here is Theo Skudra. Beautiful visual production and can’t wait for him to get a big budget movie or documentary. :)
Wouldn’t be surprised if A24 gives him a project
It’s finally over
Drakes best move now is probably to lay low a couple years
And then drop something hopefully good and unrelated to this later down the line
Cowardly
Go out swinging
Drake can still win here easily
Try to imagine Family Matters dropping without MTG dropping 30 minutes later. It would’ve def felt like a nuke
Nah I agree. I have a hard time believing they don't have another one
The real winner here is Theo Skudra. Beautiful visual production and can’t wait for him to get a big budget movie or documentary. :)
Strategy wise dropping a track just to drop a track
That s*** don’t help to stop the bleeding
You better off making Kendrick look like he schizophrenic and have him drop like 80 tracks in between now and a couple weeks
This nigga Drake gotta be Ricky Spanish behind the scenes. I’m convinced. Either way, I hope K Dot doesn’t pass the aux anytime soon
Ricky Spanish
Yeah but let's be real, the only people waiting on that s*** now are Drake stans desperately tryna cling to something lol
I mean I think Drake will respond but I will admit Kendrick has put him in a really tough spot.
Even Ak is team Kendrick it’s over you OVO 📍 clowns
This clown really is just the ultimate hypebeast
You got him f***ed up if you think he not dropping this year
He won’t ever let Kendrick be the reason he can’t drop
He’s gonna get clowned if he drops
Sure, it may sell a lot because ppl will be eager to hear what he has to say
But the last 2 weeks have done a lot of damage to his image as a rapper and people would just s*** all over the album
