Kendrick isn't an "elite bars" rapper. He's my 3rd favorite rapper of all time and even I can admit this. It's not a knock.

It's just a different approach....and it doesn't lessen an artist IMO.
Kendrick has bars, what he said back then contradicts what he's been doing since, this nigga isn't singing or mumbling, he raps, his recent feature has been quoted all over , its a rappers verse

It is pretty crazy how good of a rapper Cole is but somehow doesnt have an album better than some more underground guys like Freddie, Danny, Vince or Boldy James
