The most egregious examples are features like That Part remix
Phrases like “euphoria can slow dance” or “ambiguous favors”
To be honest I always thought he could’ve toned down the attempts at internal rhyming on How Much a Dollar cost in favor of making the story more immediate and easy to follow in the way Big and Nas stories are. I would describe the first verse as a little clumsy and over technical
Which is kind of a trap he falls into with some degree of frequency. Lowkey he lacks an ability of having bars that immediately resonate compared to a lot of greats. This why his fans have to post things about “howto listen to the album properly”
I still love Kendrick I’m not tryna say this s*** to discredit him but I’m being objective as someone who’s listened to a lot of rappers
Real. Luckily for him it's an easy thing to fix
You trolling lol
Im tripping of course I know it I wish I was trolling I think my mind is starting to go it’s literally one of my favorite Kendrick songs I thought it was named GOD IS
Another example
I get you but Kendrick choose to use his platform to try help people grow with him, nothing wrong with that, that slick talk is easy s*** that any rapper can do
This old verse from him is important to understand his career trajectory
"So feel free to not mind me
If you're used to boosters, d*** dealers and shooters on wax
Cause most of y'all niggas fabricate facts anyway
I could easily cheat and let the four-four play like a two-on-two orgy
But I've been there and it bores me
Got to the point where it did nothing for me
At forty I want to afford not to record bullshit in my story
And I'm mad young, so I'd rather do it now before my career's done
This is pain plus glory, victory is here
If I cried, you could see strength and pride in my tears
I do it for the kids
I do it for the twenty-three hour lockdowns doing time in the pen
And my pen is the only thing I got for Hip Hop to change the game
And they'll remember my name as The Relevant"
If it’s easy, then everyone would be able to do it a high level. Whether they slick talking or talking with a controversial purpose. I think his messages are clear as day and sometimes creative, sometimes simple.
Nothing extraordinary though. Pulitzer prize for that album is crazy.

I think that's the Kanye song where they hid his water bottle
I just think there’s some things you could say with hindsight could be a little better possibly so they feel like 9.5s to me
Honestly feel this way about Life After Death too
That’s fair I think for true double albums like that I give some grace (not fake double albums like some people do
Even some of my favorites do have some things that could be nit picked, i guess the separation isn’t just having less filler or less flaws. At the end of the day Big Jay and Nas just sound better than Kendrick on a track, and outside of the very impressive storytelling and conceptual angle of Kendrick’s stuff they’re better at rapping.
The music is still holding up for me today better than Kendrick’s because it still feels like music and entertainment, but an album like Reasonable Doubt achieved so much depth and told such a life story without being as bogged down as gkmc and TPAB. You can play it easier but it’s arguably just as deep and as cohesive. These are just nuances I’m thinking about as an artist myself and is obviously something on Kendrick’s mind too. No hate though
Stan wars really back
At least the Kendrick stans aren't mentally unstable like Ye stans
6god, 6 feet, number one indisputably
Half man cheated on whitney with some european mid

This thread:
"Omg {group I already hated} said {thing 1 person said} I can't believe this happened"
Might as well rename this s*** to KTTwitter with all the reactionary type s*** going on

So true

Not wild at all imo, nobody on a mainstream level makes albums that are this catchy and also talk about so many different topics, if you like the album or not that's a different story

Oh s***
We been talking about Mike and Prince right
There’s another star from that era that could be referenced as a sub/mental terrorism
Yea he cooked with that production. I’ve been dying to hear Kendrick rap over that type of production again
Need Kendrick to collab with producers like Flylo and Knxwledge for an entire project
Bruh they turned dot verse friendly 😂😂😂😂 it’s big you and big me 😂😂😂
This hilarious lmfao
