O7OXOI don’t necessarily think Cole hurt his legacy tbh. I mean he was the clear no 3 before the apology and that hasn’t changed. What he did though was miss a big opportunity to stake a claim that he’s as good as Kendrick and Drake.
Idk, I was never that big a Cole fan, but after what he did I just straight can’t imagine listening to his music until the image of him apologizing is out of my brain.

I personally don’t think anyone should respect him anymore. You can’t go firing shots first then reply and THEN apologize for keeping your word. If you didn’t want Kendrick coming at you then maybe don’t sub him and say you’re Muhammad Ali first.

And people who know how studio sessions work (like myself who is an engineer who has worked with half the people y'all talk about on here) know how collaborative the process is even for certain types of rap songs. That is not at all something unique to Drake no matter how much naive ass hip-hop nerds in their bedroom think otherwise
Now on the other hand if it is revealed that he has any help with his LYRICAL verses that would be something different entirely. The culture would not be f***ing with that s*** at all
