Watching the What's Dirt breakdown of the history of his beef with Drake reminded me of just how many times he's sent shots at Drake and never claimed it when asked in interviews. Did the same thing with Big Sean as well. Sent shots and when he got confronted, didn't claim it. This is what he does. It still amazes me how he was able to convince an entire generation of idiots that he's some sort of Boogeyman that no one wants problems with.

It's either:
a). He was stupid enough to think he'd throw direct shots at Drake and Drake would never respond to them directly or would ignore them altogether and he really doesn't have s*** to say to Drake but he hoped he'd be able to use the clout from all the noise his verse made to get himself as much goodwill as possible heading into his next album.

b). He has a response but knowing that it isn't good enough to win against Drake, he's saving it for his album so it at least gives his album a boost in debut week numbers.
