Nope. By hermetic I just mean any ancient truths that have been suppressed by the powers that be or that have been lost to time.
Everyone's starting point, impetus and journeys are different though. The way I see it, if you're destined to learn of it, you will. Requires meeting the right people at the right time, being in the right state of mind and having timely epiphanies etc. and having the resources and instinct to respond to them.
All of life is predestined and there is no free will. It's all one big coincidence. It will come to you if it's supposed to.
