FreddieKaneTop5I really feel like Wayne kinda underrated even though he does get a lot of respect and recognition as a legend. Man is still here and making music. Incredible longevity. It’s like if Pac had lived into the 10s. We have a legend still alive yet people talking about top 3s and s***. Weezy has to be in any top 3/5 list. We are lucky he still here. His verse on that Benny Butcher joint was classic Wayne.
Dedication mixtape series and Drought series alone beats a lot of these new rappers’ entire discogs.
I need to re listen to a lot of his stuff. C2 was always my favourite but I feel it may not have dated well. C3 really didn’t date well. The Dedication tapes still hold up to me though. Always love C1 for the nostalgia.
Where you all ranking Wayne projects? Which ones do you revisit still in 2024?
Been a Wayne fan since Back That Ass Up came out and I thought he sounded as good as ever on here;

Lil Wayne imo is the naturally gifted rapper who has ever touched a microphone. He just lives and breathes this s*** and it comes so naturally to him. I don't think anyone comes close besides Jay Z. I would easily put Wayne in my Top 1.
Drought 3, No Ceilings, Carter 2 and 3 my fav projects. I visit them very often.
