you really hate that s***
Not at all, it's just the worst in his catalog
N95, Savior , Silent hill, Rich spirit & the interlude, United in grief are all phenomenal songs, I think this album is bloated and could've been condensed in a more meaningful way with a heavier focus on the message. I just feel it's too dumbed down
Taylor Made probably made Kendrick rewrite his diss 2 more times and people think the IG delete meant a thing 🤣
good morning
check out these strings i just wrote as you await kendricks imminent (

This is good!
The run from Kevin's Hart to 1985 is amazing
Also The Cut Off and Photograph
This album is sonically better to me, and felt like it wasn't supposed to be universally accepted project. The beats are truer to Hip-Hop and I prefer Cole's vocal performance over the entirety of the album than I Kendrick
Truer to hip hop
A genre of music built on lies
This is good!
ty
been studying vivaldi

Fan fic hours past bro
Yeah we all knife wielding gun toting badasses on here
told that nigga "bullets don't tickle" lol.
yall better stay out of the tri-state area when Ken Carson comes to town.
Oh, agreed. But that goes for all kinds of art. Ultimately, so long as the artist/creator made what THEY wanted to make, that's a win. The only difference is that in Kendrick's case, he made his music and is selling it as a product to fans in the hope that they get as much out of it as he did and while I have no doubt that some people genuinely enjoyed the album, I think it's fair to say that it didn't land for most people (AND THAT'S OKAY). It's like his first miss. It's allowed. Doesn't take away from his legacy or his discography imo. I think some Kendrick fans defend the album so much because they want to be able to hold on to the "Kendrick has zero misses" argument.
It must be sabbath I got great divine to post the most reasonable post I’ve ever seen from them
When you’ve got winners like these coming up next, Peggy makes me wish the radio had a skip button
I like that they have this one too though. Way better imo

One of my favorites, which has one of the most gnarled rhyme schemes I've seen to this day;
"Good authors too who once knew better words
Now only use four-letter words
Writing prose
Anything goes"

@2words wonder what the flow master thinks of this tbh
The album is inspired by his reaction to seeing Kendrick perform DAMN. It was meant to be universally accepted
It's not, the beats would reflect that
Just because he modeled it after a commercial success doesn't mean he chased that same thing
DAMN had U2 on it

it sucks he could never beat his demons and pretty much accepted his fate

Oh yeah I turn the tv up and walk in circles when this plays because I don’t wanna miss a moment of it.
‘The world has gone mad today
And good's bad today
And black's white today
And day's night today
And that gent today
You gave a cent today
Once had several chateaux’

DAMN had U2 on it
His first arena tour was KOD
seems like he made it with that intention
Kendrick man you letting the world down
Dont worry, he got em right where he wants em
Still don’t think many understand the amount of talent we lost with his passing
it sucks he could never beat his demons and pretty much accepted his fate
I hated Blue Slide Park Mac initially, then he became the conduit to all my favorite artists and then his music started to grow in such a beautiful way. He had a little of everything and was such a genuine person, at least from what I saw. I'll never forget Mac and his impact on me and the LA music scene
Rest in heaven to that young angel
