a part of that disillusionment is the narrative that dot is a Sade/Frank Ocean/Prince/Dangelo level artist who doesnt compromise his art ever

from Swimming Pools to Humble to Black Panther, chart and mainstream appeal has always been his focus along with being creative and experimenting too
