serenadeit strikes me as insecurity, i don't think drake could accept the idea of dropping an album without hits. same reason why he threw jimmy cooks at the end of honestly nevermind. ironically though rich baby daddy would have fit just fine with a bunch of R&B songs and still would have been a hit, he didn't need to tack on a whole yeat song lol.
Stans were coping about how he much less commercially with that album, and they were so happy that 21 saved his ass with a hit song.
