providerthat was a big song for her, sure. but those first two albums for her showcased a young artist with immense talent, and the public and the industry were ALL on board with it tbh. the 3rd LP has slowed that down now.
Was a long wait too. I guess her 3rd LP she Mr Moraled herself but I would love to see her have a “Like That” type resurgence.
She should make another song like royals but this time complaining about tiktok or something

Apr 25, 20242wordsI don’t find Royals to be brilliant really. Might be one of the most immature songs I can think of
But the fact she hasn’t been able to connect anywhere close to that level again makes me question her pen a little bit. I do like Liability a lot though and most of the second album.
Just feels like the shock value and gimmick of “omg she’s not like the other girls” did a ton of heavy lifting for her
She's a legit great writer, I think her taking long breaks between LPS hurt her but to me, she and dua and maybe that hoe Charlie are the pawg big 3

yeah but to me, all real songwriters have whack lines. she has great ones too
she wrote 30 songs, i don't love or even really like the album but i do have a great appreciation for her and artists like her. that's where i'll end it lol
