I don’t find Royals to be brilliant really. Might be one of the most immature songs I can think of
But the fact she hasn’t been able to connect anywhere close to that level again makes me question her pen a little bit. I do like Liability a lot though and most of the second album.
Just feels like the shock value and gimmick of “omg she’s not like the other girls” did a ton of heavy lifting for her

FlyHiiiI like FATD and the deluxe version is goated, def overhated album but that stretch in the middle really f***s up the momentum for me and it just doesn’t come close to the greatness of some of his other albums
and I like when artists take risks and I would want Drake to give it another go but HNVM was a failed attempt at that for me, but some people clearly love it. Would have been better without Drakes vocals imo
I definitely think FATD gets infected with the contagious Drake bloat but I think the music that surrounds that is the strongest since ML
