That's what I thought and people been gaslighting me to think otherwise. Seemed like Drake wanted to be friends but Kendrick didn't want to either because he just didn't like him or his background or what he represents, which is fair, but that upset Drake. But Kendrick uses the "it's rap" argument to hide behind instead of just saying "sorry I just can't be friends"

Its probably less serious than that for sure, but I think for drake he felt like he went out on a limb for Kendrick in taking him on tour specifically, and giving him his own song on his album. It’s a little more than just “making music”.

I’m not saying necessarily that Kendrick owed drake anything after that but in drake’s eyes he probably felt like he should get a little bit of loyalty or mutual respect for supporting him during his rise. And I did say lowkey. From drakes perspective it could be a lowkey snake move to just take and then not show love after that.
