There's a lot of disconnect with Drake and America culturally that feels assimilated, whereas almost the entire field is comprised of mainly homegrown talent. So, I think the more influential base will side with national pride subconsciously
I saw a YouTube short (skit) that leaned into this idea of Kendrick needing to respond or the YouTube guy will have to move to Toronto. It was a joke video but it's interesting that deep down, this is kind of patriotic for some, not all.
