LacedKendrick was planned to surprise drop around Christmas but he got covid. That's why all them snippets leaked around that time and why he said he was gonna see everybody real soon after the day n vegas show. 2021 taking no prisoners line wasn't a mistake.

Based off B****face aka the early version of Rich Spirit, the album sonically would’ve sounded closer to DAMN then it ended up sounding.

I remember the snippets leaking. Multiple songs like United In Grief, We Cry Together and the early versions of Rich Spirit & Crown were apart of it.
Personally I do believe he was actually planning to drop last year, but I think he got cold feet and pulled out last second for whatever reason. Probably retooled the album further. Removed a few songs and added new ones like Savior and Mr. Morale.

It was only kind of on the setlist to begin with. He did the last verse only. He wisely removed it. Not a good song for a live setting.
