Its good but in no world is it better than any album he's dropped since
Recency bias IMO
Y’all gotta revisit
Imma be honest the only song I probably dislike on DAMN is God.
DNA
Humble
Loyalty
Element
Fear
Feel
still ring off

Morales highs are up there with his best
But DAMN got GOAT contenders throughout
It’s his weakest imo
Still a great album but nostalgia carries it
It was the first time a lot of people heard him and that hits differently than just another album you heard from him.
Been seeing this opinion on here a lot lately but I'm putting s80 over Morale tbh
I appreciate the personal nature and message of Morale but the execution is messy imo and I'm more likely to go back and listen to S80
Kush and Corinthians second verse one of Kendrick's best ever and is basically DAMN's concept in a verse, ADHD a timeless classic, Hiiipower Cole's best beat, Poe Mans Dreams just feels like getting home from a day of work and smoking a blunt. Got so much love for that album

Can’t debate that

But its messiness is 100% deliberate. It’s an album Kendrick deliberately made the way he did for a reason. And imma be real, some of his best writing ever is on Mr. Morale. Some of his best work ever is on Mr. Morale. It’s one of those things you can take or leave.
Section.80 is still great to me but yeah it’s not my favorite compared to the ones that follow. I feel like he became a lot more defined as an artist moving forward beyond that album.

It’s the perfect Kendrick album and one I recommend to newcomers to get introduced to him. It’s got bangers, tear jerkers, jazz rap, songs where he’s barring out, humor. Bit of everything
I’m cool with whatever he wants to do now since he’s already shown he’s the GOAT. What I really hope for is that he wins 5 Grammys next year and then in 2026 gets 4 more with a new album so he can be the rapper with the most Grammys ever. After that he can retire if he wants.
Dot has given us more than enough great music to last a lifetime. Over 80+ amazing songs from just 5 major albums (4 if we exclude S80). Most artists don’t even have 40 standout tracks and they have twice the number of albums.
yall holdin on to these grammys for life 🤣🤣
Kendrick didn't make an absolute timeless intro with United In Grief for yall to stan Love feat. Zacari
