speaking from experience as this was very much my same situation

honestly i could see how its very confusing. it’ll truly never make sense. not comparing my situation to Drake’s at all but just giving context
i love my dad, as the inner child in me will never allow me to hate him. at the same time, i call my dad’s bullshit out more than any person on this planet. i’ve taken shots at my dad on social media and in my verses. have played them for em, even discussed them with him. just my form of expression. still will post up and take flicks with him if we’re at an event or just chillen
s*** like this gets complicated and it’ll never be just be linear. i forgave my dad for a lot but not for everything. im sure Drake has forgiven Dennis for a lot but not everything, hence what seems like random shots every now and then
