I was like what the hell does DRose have to do with LA

you can tell kendrick probably peeped all of this and instead of saying it, bro just showing drake how it's done.
difference is Not Like Us gon become one of the best songs of the decade lmao
My goat
The family part was sick but ngl Dave Free videos getting old af. Didn’t match the energy of the song imo after all this time I was expecting a wild ass video.
I’d have to agree, no disrespect to Dave Free. Only thing I wanted was the whole video shot outside in Compton/LA. Indoor scenes were unnecessary.
NLU is a summer jam with West Coast vibes so the whole thing should’ve been shot outdoors.
Last scene with the owl is dope and the one with Whitney is fire too. Only part I didn’t vibe with was the studio/dance scene the whole thing should’ve been shot outside in the sun.
The Humble MV was of much higher quality. It would be interesting to see how much both MVs cost. Humble was shot with the label's budget while NLU seems to have been funded out of Kendrick's own pocket.

man those some of the best shots, them dancers + tommy was killing it
HOV performed Takeover in the 2010s yet making a music video for a 2 month old song is milking it
Mind you Family Matters had a whole rollout and the whole club was gonna be singing to it but now that Kendrick actually achieved that it's doing too much

It’s been all downhill since Adonis…
the little video they made will almost reach a 10th of drake reach
so cute kendrick is soo close to becoming the king of rap
If there's one thing I've learned from this battle, it's that Drake's numbers are inflated and don’t play any role in this battle. Drake has 150 million IG followers, 30 million YT subs and millions of followers across other socials, yet Family Matters didn't even crack 40 million views. Makes no sense.
Even FPS barely crossed 50 million views. Everything about Drake is fake... he's the one buying streams and views this was even confirmed a month ago.
It still seems strange to me how Hotline Bling has 2 billion views. The video is boring and the song itself is so dull and low energy that I'm almost sure half the views are bought.
Same sht with God's plan the whole song makes no sense and is extremely boring. How is it possible to have hundreds of millions of followers but not even reach 40 million views (FM) in what is probably the biggest battle in hiphop history?
