If you have iPhone go into your general settings into Keyboard and make sure all that predictive/automatic s*** is turned off

I like it when it works though lol

I use alt keyboards on a pixel though. Think the one I use updated and it's a glitchy update

If you told me Kendrick would drop 4 Drake disses in one week and one of them would go #1 while calling explicitly Drake a pedophile, I’d think it was delusional fanfiction

It ain't sad nor his biggest hit

Perfectly happy to let a song wipe the entity that is drake off the map and do serious numbers

    It means victory

thanks yo this is a good post too i think everything you said here is definitely plausible. think back on just how HIMSELF drake used to be. it's sooo crazy to see him being seen as inauthentic now (rightfully so) when drake was anything but in his early career, apart from the occasional faux pas like the headlines video or started from the bottom lol. bro was like a nerd and student of hip hop (but not in an insufferable corny way like j cole... sorry im just a cole hater always have been lol) and a lady's man. the type of nigga to rap over jai paul and talk to these hoes like they're his one and only or talk about how sad he is that aaliyah's gone hahaha... it was like "yeah you niggas hate me but guess what i just flew out your girl" type energy. frankly, it's almost Prince vibe in terms of him being another untradtionally presenting straight man who was often hated by cishet men but beloved by women, embracing his sensitivity and even "femininity" and women resonating and being attracted to that. being a jit during this whole era, drake's aura was UNDEFEATED back then for me. he was an inspiration because i felt like him and his camp were doing something artistically cool and still getting success/bitches off it hahaha. it was something i aspired to, honestly.

that second point is valid too. i can definitely see how his reputation being permanently stained by that sullied this idea that he would be considered like a GOAT MC, so he just abandoned it in favor of... whatever tf he's doing now, chart dominance i guess? music that's here today and gone tomorrow for me personally.

i liked a lot of tracks on views but there were a lot i didnt like. i think you're right as views does feel like a more traditional drake album especially considering the duds he's been dropping lately, but even still i think that album is infected with the faux pas mob boss fake abs bullshit like 9 or the future song, and of course had the beginnings of his weird need to ape other styles like dancehall caribbean music etc which to me back then was SO weird because i was like "why would he need to ape anything?? does this nigga not realize how innovative and influential his team's sound was and still could've continued to be? like yall havent even taken this as far as it could go..." tracks like fire & desire or feel no ways or redemption or u with me? for example off top. it for SURE seems like he completely lost confidence in himself and the sound. and yes idk about the rihanna thing necessarily but this is HUGE like the clear love and empathy he had for women even up to 2018 with nice for what seems completely absent now. maybe it was always a fraud but maybe not.

lmk if you think i should make a thread on this tbh. i wanna talk about it with more because i feel like the drake problem doesnt get enough discussion from this specific perspective in terms of niggas like me who used to be huge fans but are completely off him now. but when i made my esperanza spalding thread it was before the beef and drake stans blew my notifs up for weeks after they awfully quiet these days though so it might be a good time to do that

    Make a thread. We'll peep

I'm looking at genius right now for the snippet and apparently this producer named Scott Bridgeway produced it

Apparently he was heavily involved in producing Baby Keem's last album
