I find it very funny that 2-months later, people on both sides are still taking a moral angle to justify who’s right or wrong and who won and who’s a hypocrite.

This was a rap battle. Kendrick had more success getting more people to point and laugh at his opponent. All of this s*** has nothing to do with morals and righteousness. Lol yeah, that may be the backdrop to dumb naive stans on both sides, but all this battle was about is who can roast the other more effectively. And Kendrick won for now.

after like that i thought it was clear kendrick wasn't going to hold back on anything, and that he expected drake to do the same. I think the whole "drake crossed the line first, so kendrick is immune from all scrutiny" angle is stupid in that context.

according to DJ hed, they had a phone call where they were laying down ground rules and kendrick specifically told him to leave family out of it. kendrick also gave him another chance to back down from that angle on euphoria.
