emmy’s are legit award of course but this specific one has nominated the SB Half time show, an SNL performance, the kennedy center honors, a late night talk show band, and a wild card every year for over 10 years it’s kind of crazy

Yeah for the same reason I said, they are big TV events that happen every year and shows with this type of format are the only ones with "music direction". Not crazy at all if you understand the category.
Superbowl performances has only been nominated 7 times and won twice btw. The notable point here is he won.
SNL should have the advantage because it happens often throughout the year but they've never won.
