I agree with you that he obviously rewrote s***, but he could have easily dropped earlier this year and make another album with all the s*** that happened this year. He had the album ready and the festival dates confirmed before the George Floyd and Brionna Taylor murders happened, and Quarentine didnt even exist in the US.

He didnt drop the album in March/April because of commercial and relevance reasons, he wanted his project to be relevant, which is perfectly fine, it's probably going to be a masterpiece.
