People really hating this greatness?
They doing it bruh but only on here
Check the yt comments, the general population is amazed
Niggas grew up listening to bullshit bruh
If you 21 today you was 11 when GKMC dropped. 9 when MBDTF dropped.
These lil niggas have no concept of real music. It’s only so far going back to peep old s*** will get you if you didn’t directly experience it. Niggas don’t value music the same. This the fast food era fr.
people calling it corny when Kendrick one of the few artists really out here trying to do something different
u know what’s actually corny? bullshit like jack harlow going #1 and selling 130k fw lol
throwaway quality is a crazy take lmao
Is it though, UU is basically throwaways right?

Says a lot about the standard Kendrick set for his music when s*** like UU is a bunch of throaways

gotta love hiphop elitist ass posts like this
gotta love hiphop elitist ass posts like this
If I’m “elitist” by y’all standards then so be it. I’d rather be that than to be what y’all on rn
I feel like I'm listening to a different song when I see some reactions on this site tbh
Why is the video a gimmick? Is everything with shock value a gimmick now lol?
Streets said this post was a gimmick

who's yall, I fw this but I can see why folk would find certain parts corny too
This is a pretty normal release from Kendrick tbh like the song and video isn't more out there than anything he's dropped before
They doing it bruh but only on here

I love the song, but we are not gonna act like YouTube comments are the new standard of judging if somethings good or not
Song is amazing
Video is amazing
If you think the video is a gimmick you just closeminded tbh
I like Kendrick but I don’t care about his political statements. It comes across as first year art student’s opinion on Race which is why he’s great critic bait.
So for me the more calculated he is the worse he sounds. The Kendrick version I like best is when he uses his GOAT level of artistry in a more flow state.
Untitled Unmastered was his last great project for me. Everything else is too manicured, to focus-grouped and caters to a political angle which just so happens to be endorsed by everybody giving awards.
His d***riders will never understand this and why they’ll never understand Kanye or someone like Drake who are just constantly making great Art as inspiration arises.
Kendrick is so calculated it doesn’t sound like Art anymore. You can appreciate the high-level technique but the message doesn’t resonate for the ordinary person because he’s trying too hard to be 2Pac.
It's actually incredibly hilarious how you don't see the parallel's between Drake and Kendrick.
"I like Drake but I don’t care about his love life. It comes across as a teenagers idea of romance which is why he’s great women bait.
So for me the more calculated he is the worse he sounds. The Drake version I like best is when he uses his GOAT level of communicating his braggadocio in a more flow state.
IYRTITL was his last great project for me. Everything else is too manicured, to focus-grouped and caters to a safe/wide reach which just so happens to be everybody.

Drake is so calculated it doesn’t sound like Art anymore. You can appreciate the high production level but the songs don’t resonate for the person searching for more because he’s trying too hard to be Michael Jackson."
Just some disclaimers, I don't necessarily disagree with you about Kendrick. I also don't believe anything I wrote about Drake in those quotes. I love em both, Ye too. I'm really trying to illustrate to you how the music industry works.
You're able to see all of this about Kendrick and not Drake because you're the target group of Drake's team.
This isn't a bad thing.
We're all being studied by someone, in a room somewhere in order for them to sell us something, Mad Men covered this in 7 (or 8?) excellent seasons (some were mid but yeah).
Moral of the story, don't fall for the hype, most big releases are highly curated products, sorry to be the one to tell you, but even Drake's s*** is targeted. Highly, like his was the highest level.
Enjoy music for what it is.
This was a nice song by Kendrick.

This gotta be the worst attempt at trolling I've ever seen Jesus christ do better lol
