gabapentini mean i can see how they would feel a kind of way but the point of Kendrick-as-Nipsey "forgiving" the is that its pointless to hold a grudge -- this is different from the killer not facing consequences in this life or the next. its simply that the poison of hatred inside ourselves only reduces our quality of life, blinds us with rage, keeps us trapped in cycles of violence. Indeed nipsey is in the next life, it would be totally pointness for him to stew and withhold forgiveness
