Not when Her Loss has a much higher streams per track. I think people are able to listen to the Her Loss tracks more times because there’s less of them.

So you’re saying that if Her Loss had 23 tracks, it wouldn’t have been streamed as much as For All The Dogs?

I love how long album = more streams was an obviously accepted reality, but now it's up for debate because some of the dumbest people walking this earth are mad an artist they don't like is popular.

Bro anyone can go look at the Top 20 highest streaming weeks ever.

19/20 of them are long ass albums

The data is literally right there

It would’ve had a modest increase in total streams and the streams per track would’ve gone down by a lot

That makes you a box score watcher

Gotta watch the game to evaluate how those 35 points were earned and what impact the player had outside of scoring

Just the other day Lamelo scored 32 points on 35 shots in a 94-98 loss to the Heat

Only a clown would say he didn't have a good game

    The nigga shot 11/35

Maybe if he takes 7-8 less shots they win that game

    FATD opened with 108 million

Her Loss opened with 98 million

You think this has nothing to do with FATD having 7 more tracks?

fatd also fall off a cliff the next rest of the weel doing 48mil or less the rest of the day

which shows people listened to everything day 1, then just listened to the few they like

but the fall off is astronomical even compared to regular

people were not happy with most of fatd, even the discourse

from yesterday before the new predictions:

GNX (12 tracks) vs. FATD (23 tracks)
    1st Day (partial day) - 44M Vs. 108M
    2nd Day - 75M Vs. 75M
    3rd Day - 52M Vs. 48M
    4th Day - 56M Vs. 51M
    5th Day - 49M Vs. 46M
    6th Day - 46M Vs. 39m

people instantly clocked out of all the fatd fluff and extra bloat after first day LMAOOOOOO

Look at the artists. It’s all Drake, Taylor, Post Malone, SZA, Bad Bunny, Travis…now find a popular short album those artists have put out. Doesn’t exist!

It's been common knowledge for YEARS that longer albums do better on streaming services. Remember when Chris Brown gamed the system with a 50 track album and went gold instantly? That was 7 years ago. And Drake stans who watch the charts obsessively will pretend they've never heard of this phenomenon before

like we universally call them "filler tracks" for a reason but nahhh now it's "u don't get an award for making a concise album!!"

It’s literally common sense with streaming, I don’t get why they’re acting like it’s some foreign or new concept

No. I’m saying those albums aren’t at the top because they’re long. They’re at the top because the artists are the most popular. Midnights is the 4th highest streaming week and it’s only 14 tracks! (I was wrong this one example does exist and disproves your point)

Dumbass, the 3am Edition released 3 hours after the album dropped with 6 extra tracks.

The first week streaming numbers for Midnights reflect all 20 tracks.

Obviously those albums are at the top because the artists are popular, but it’s because they’re popular and the albums are long. Why are Drake’s two short projects this decade nowhere to be found on that list? Her Loss isn’t really long but it’s not short either

Scored 17 points in the 4th quarter bring it from 58-75 to a 94-92 lead

You say if he takes 7-8 fewer shots they win

The reality is they lost the game because Lamelo's teammate missed two free throws with 4 seconds left

Sorry but the way you dishonestly talk about basketball makes me think you are arguing in bad faith in this thread

Sorry that I’m a dumbass for having never listened to Taylor Swift!

Why aren’t those albums up there? I assume you mean DLDT and HNVM.

DLDT - collection of loosies dropped in the middle of the pandemic when streaming was way way down.

HNVM - most people think this album sucks

The average stream per track for both of these projects is well below the long track albums at the top of the list, meaning it’s not just because they were short

Idiot, basketball is a 48 minute game. LaMelo was 5/23 in the first three quarters

Maybe if he played better in the first three quarters they wouldn’t be down 75-58 in the first place
