Why would Kendrick use this beat man
The heart pt 6
“I can put a rapper on life support guarantee something that none of you want”
Cole dead drake next
idk how drake camp calling it real is a dealmaker for yall
they have a clear reason to call this song real
cuz its weak
Aye y’all we can argue all night bout how this is ai or not but ultimately we don’t actually know

Lol yeah I’m tapping out
the ai literally breaks when he says "rap critic slandering names" lol
Definitely something funky going on there good ear, sounds more like pumping from poorly executed compression to me. The spectral information doesn't break down at all
I’ve used the AI filter that Grimes put up on her site and ran autotune vocals through there and it came out pretty damn clean. I ran it through a few times and chopped out any notable imperfections, ran it through itself, ran it through with and without autotune etc.
And on that note, that section of the snippet is the section that sounds the most like AI lol.
Yeah but doing it for a rapper, with the source being sampled rap vocals mostly, makes it harder to make melodic parts convincing from what I understand
And to me he sounds very animated and realistic on that part especially
Kendrick is NOT FLOWING on this
I get the Heart motif but the beat is so bad
Weak bars
Kendrick isn’t dumb
Anyone could recreate the Hit Em Up part and layer the voice over their own
Ok then engineer to engineer where are the spectral processing artifacts that would be present if this was ai? What time stamps?
“When you see kDoTt” is a dead giveaway bro
doesnt even sound like part of the mix sounds like "slandering" twisted the voice model too much
Yeah it kinda does that with the word competitive around the 30 second mark
I just compared it to the vocal glitching on Element and it really doesn’t sound like that. It’s definitely more twisted sounding than glitchy, Like what you’d get from an ai
But hey man who tf knows
Even if it’s real idk why people are freaking out. Kendrick is known to make tons of different versions of the same song and experiment. This verse could just be a rough draft
yea if i ever have to cry in a thread and act delusional bc drake dropped something so bad i have to act like its fake.. do more than sue me.. kill me
Thankfully I’m right so it’s all good

Whatchu think about the “competitive ” part around 30 seconds?
Edit: I guess it’s more the word “revive”

ELEMENT has had like 4 different beats lol. Prob more out there

I think it is real, but it sounds very “rough draft”
I mean hell there was multiple Push Up disses so why couldn’t this have multiple versions right?

For all we know this verse could’ve literally just been a freestyle for Kendrick to get an idea of how he wants to structure the song
I mean I kinda like the verse, but it’s definitely lacking the wordplay and entendres that Kendrick usually brings.

Which is maybe why he don’t drop a lot of music
Which is maybe why he not built for bee
They gon give us our flowers yall, and when they do it’ll be hilarious
@crakc @Dino

We’ll see how he does when his track drops (supposedly this week). But yeah he scraps ideas for albums/songs and starts over often.
You funny dawg but nah there is
!https://youtu.be/cJAzgOP83Gk?feature=sharedYear old video but the tech evolved since then
These are free, publically available tools
Imagine a programmer whose familiar with this tech with their own tweaked plugins and presets
They were saying AI couldn’t do the Hit Em Up part like this was just text to speech
It’s a group of clever dudes in a discord who are into rap and tech and are currently laughing
It just has to be remembered that neither side is really going to play fair here, and not to take it personally. The fans will give one artist as many weeks as they like and make excuse after excuse, and then deem 1 artist the loser after 2 days. Gotta block out the bullshit and just focus on when something important happens because thats where the conversation begins and ends.

This is my take too. At this point I have heard convincing arguments from both sides as to whether this is AI or not. The truth is none of that matters at all...
The only thing that counts is the finished product. This could just be a rough draft like you said. Tons of artists do this. I mean aren't we a Kanye stan site? We've heard early recordings from him for songs that turned out completely different once completed and the same for Kendrick.
Even if this is real I don't care. Leaks like this and the whole AI s*** is ruining everything for music listeners. I just want the end product to release and have everyone judge it on that alone.
