The lyrics are written and recorded by somebody and a filter is placed on the vocals to make it sound like Kendrick.

Not saying this is AI, I’m on the fence. But the writing style and inflections wouldn’t come from the program, they’d come from the person recording. The masking is all that comes from AI.

There’s been plenty of very realistic sounding AIs posted in response to this, and there are multiple spots on the Kendrick leak that sound like AI masking. The way some of the words end so abruptly and the flatness/monotony of the vocals throughout suggest AI. But it could also be the way the leak was recorded/low quality.

I’m not saying with certainty that it’s AI, I’ve gone back and forth on it. If it’s real, it could be a solid intro on the finished version. If it’s fake, it’s a convincing fake.
