He clearly means the song didn’t get radio play proportionate to how popular it actually is. The song is under represented by radio for how popular it actually is/was

Nah you moving the goalpost for him but even if that’s what he was saying, that’s not even true. Hiphop songs hardly reach top 10 in overall radio and he happened to achieve that with NLU. If you wanna say that radio historically undervalues HipHop i’ll argee with u on that. NLU happens to be the rare exception to that tho

He explained the title of the song which is what we already knew. Everything in his answer about character is reflected in Meet the Grahams, 616, Euphoria. I wanted an answer addressing the elephant in the room of accusing someone under the same place as you of Pedophilia. It will eventually be asked of him. Meet the Grahams was a good stopping point. Even if I knew the domestic violence was a lie. Reacting to an accusation of abusing women with an accusation of abusing women felt defensive at first because again he had won with Meet the grahams. He made the catchy radio song that got him to permeate the public

If you perform at the Super Bowl, Harpers BAZAAR, number 1 song of the year with a huge radio push and awards

you cant let the party die you are a part of the party

What makes you think that's what Kendrick meant by "the party"?

What makes you think that's what Kendrick meant by "the party"?

you read all of this and thats all you got. I know some think the party is Diddy Parties

You guys have a way of reading an entire paragraph and rather than respond with what you think you respond with just one singular question.

I thought of what the party is based on the lyrics of the song. I also know the party is the negative parts of black culture but if he is done lecturing us why continue? If he knows UMG who he is under promotes artist doing exactly that or if he knows why these artist depict their reality which sometimes is the party to escape it themselves what does he want? If he isn't creating a label for more consciousness or encouraging others rather than just beating his chest that he is the best whats accomplished?

He openly says I wish it was you rather than Nipsey when Morale gave the idea while parading around a d*** addict Kodak black that he believed all humans were capable of change.

Dear God type of vibes but bemoaning black people while moments ago saying he is what the culture is feeling.

"I think it's time to watch the party die
This s*** done got too wicked to apologize
It's different, get him whacked and disqualified

Just walk that man down, that'll do everyone a solid

I originally typed something longer out and addressed more of what you said but I figured I'd just ask for your perspective and why you think what you think instead of arguing with a stranger on the internet

I definitely agree with some of the hypocrisy between the Kodak Black situation and even the Like That verse being on a Future song.

But I just don't see how submitting a song to the Grammys or performing the Super Bowl is contradictory to his sentiment of Watch the Party Die, which is what I took issue with in your post I responded to. But now that you elaborated I do agree with your sentiment
