It's VERY simple. Do not claim to be anti industry when you are an industry puppet. That's all. It makes sense to do it. It gives you good reviews and pr. So it makes sense for him to do it. My only issue is his fake persona.

this is like calling Drake a hypocrite because he often states how tired he is of dating or whatever in his music, but then seeing him pop up with a new girl on social media means he's a hypocrite?

It's a weird standard to hold. Kendrick should not drop music or perform at the superbowl because he said being in the public eye effects him spirtually? sounds like that's his cross to bear rather than ours.
