Flower Boy & IGOR are on the same level
CMIYGL & Chromakopia are on the same levelLike the albums stopped getting better but they’re still pretty close and tyler is still getting more interesting artistically imo idk if that makes sense but thats where I am with Dot & Tyler. I dont expect their best work i just want them to stay consistent

ValentineIt’s impossible to rank Kendrick’s albums. Especially when you get into personal favorites and classics. Like OD my #1, that’s getting you looked at as “trying to be different” when it’s like nah that’s my perfect Kendrick album, sorry. Just like what you like man

Oh absolutely. Think the last time I found a Kendrick drop this enjoyable was GKMC. A lot of bangers but I always go for songs like Gloria and Heart pt. 6. Those 2 and reincarnated are my top 3 songs. Few features I don't like but I understand the placement of them

I feel you and I actually really like Gloria , i think its his best outro since Mortal Man (Duckworth is close)
But in my city these super bass heavy beats Kendrick is using on this album is really like the sound of my city. These are the only type of beats most niggas in my city like so to hear Kendrick do songs like Squabble Up & tv off is a dream come true for me fr. I honestly wish my best friend who passed a few months earlier was still alive to hear this because he’d be so geeked to hear this album I already know it’d be his favorite Kendrick album.
But bro I completely agree with you about Gloria and especially The Heart pt 6, that song really was dope to hear as someone who followed TDE decently early on, at least pre GKMC era.

The Heart pt 6 actually is a really good example of a conscious song by Kendrick that’s actually really easy to listen to, I can see the difference between that and something like Auntie Diaries lol even tho i fw Auntie Diaries
But I really like the album, I’m not like mindblown by it or anything but I think he needed this in his career badly. Like a direct to the point album where he rapped with this energy, i feel like it’d always be a knock against him if he didn’t do this. I don’t think its as good as GKMC, TPAB, or DAMN. but i honestly dont think its far off quality wise, i rate it around the same as Morale but def see how its more enjoyable than Morale
