Okay! Imagine Kendrick has a super special crayon he loves more than anything else. He talks about this crayon like it’s his best friend or even like it’s his girlfriend. At first, they have lots of fun together, and the crayon helps him draw cool pictures and tell amazing stories. But sometimes, the crayon makes him frustrated because it takes so much of his time, and he feels like he can’t live without it.

In the end, Kendrick says, "Oh wait, I wasn’t talking about a person this whole time—it’s my crayon!" So the whole song is about how much he loves drawing and writing, even when it’s hard. The crayon is like his secret weapon, helping him share his feelings and ideas with the world.

I'm not a great person whatsoever, and maybe only saw this as a real threat because I've had suicidal ideation for the vast majority of my life--but when I saw someone say she was going to run into traffic to her friends in NO I believed her and ran to stop it after she made it 1.25 lanes into the 3 lane road and pulled her out of it with the active cars before folks and cops came to stop her from continuing.
