Im a pure hiphop head so mind you I’m talking from that perspective but in that sense 2015 will probably never be topped it was wayyyy too stacked with quality album after quality album, had a lot of rappers dropping some of their best s*** of their career. Kendrick & Drake the two biggest of the gen dropped IYRTITL & TPAB respectively. We had a giant blockbuster moment with the return of Dr Dre after almost 20 years, and it was the perfect time where the SoundCloud and trap influenced artist were still fresh and exciting while the actual rapper rappers were still dropping amazing projects as well
