Drake in truth was nervous about Kendrick’s response which is why he tried so early on to have an iron grip on the overall narrative with the “drop drop drop” s*** and tried to convince casuals the A.I Kendrick diss was real.

plus he was so insecure that he leaked Push ups to see the initial reactions before officially release it

In addition he said Kendrick was "on the clock" and needed to hurry up, and that Drake was up, etc. He also said Taylor Made was a good diss and had no problem disrespecting Pac. I don't trust CTG at all. He's lowkey a Trump supporter.

I really feel like he downplayed Not Like Us because he knows the freaky ass nigga line applies to him

One thing is im glad kendrick drew a red line in the music industry to not do that ai imitating s*** of dead people. A lot of people in the media were starting to accept it, saying it was a good move by drake, etc. and if drake won im certain it woulda gained more acceptance

Labels are definitely going to be looking into bringing back dead people through A.I and it’s gonna be a huge problem in the forthcoming years with alot of backlash and boycotts.

Off topic but you know what bothered me the most about this battle? The first 2 weeks when everyone was saying Kendrick was scared of Drake, that he was hiding, etc. So much hate and disrespect towards Kendrick. Even CTG sided with Drake not to mention that fat funky mf AK. I'll tell you, those 2 weeks had me feeling depressed asf.

A lot of Kendrick fans were folding too can’t lie. I saw niggas really doubting Kendrick like he didn’t make TPAB

S*** make me nauseous thinking about it tbh

I don’t mind A.I being used as a creative tool in the same vein as autotune, but when you start using it to exploit it simply because you can, that’s when the technology needs to be restricted.

I never doubted him. I said I’d even take a perma if he didn’t respond within 3 weeks of Push Ups. I was confident in him because he’s never really let me down before.

Yup. I can’t imagine him just going back to silence after all this. Not until he delivers another classic

He not going back into silence, no way. He definitely got an album coming and the only reason it hasn’t dropped is because NLU ended up being a smash hit which was not expected by Kendrick or the label.

He's always been afraid of dot, that nigga kendrick was always daring him to slip and say sumn cause both his peers knew kendrick was the one, it's why they moved the way they did their career. Coles so called legendary feature run was a direct response to be being placed third, and drake been bitter and resentful of the way people embraced dot, conscious rapper who didn't to do much to be accepted

I laughed at the people who doubted Kendrick. One of the things I know for sure about Kendrick is that he is a master strategist. He would never have sent directly to Drake if he wasn't ready to behead him

I always had Kendrick's back. My main concern was that Drake would manipulate the narrative through memes (he definitely tried) and push the music into the background, especially since Kendrick isn't active on socials.

It might sound weird but b4 I got back on KTT, I didn't think Kendrick should even bother responding to Push Ups and Taylor Made. Cornball Drake never seemed like a serious contender to me battling him just seemed pointless because he's straight trash and super corny.

I was also hella skeptical about the Push Ups diss and was sure it was AI-generated until the last minute since Drake didn't want to drop it on dsp.

    I agree

Both Drake and Cole are envious of Kendrick’s talent and success without compromise. Drake moreso.
