It’s not dropping is it bros
Tbh superstar rollouts cost an ungodly amount of money and pglang may not have it in their budget like that due to kendrick just not caring about it much. And prob just rely on the UMG licensing deal for any type of big exposure.
It works for him, its starts dialogue and its been proven to be timeless. His fans been his main promoter since tpab ngl. But even if he didnt have the fans dissecting everything he does. I think hed still take this route due to his lifestyle.
There's a million other factors why this no longer happens bruh

I agree that the big rollouts were really fun from a forum standpoint, more speculation/conversation about the albums sound/features/concept, like unwrapping small clues/tidbits.
I think these large rollouts really have diminishing returns for artists who are at a higher level of popularity, they don’t really benefit from the momentum of a single as much as a lesser known artist can, they also can weigh a larger risk if the track doesn’t perform well.
2017-18 was the last time they released like that. Basically before streaming fully took over. Now the singles are mostly decided based on reaction after the album is out
I'm here to tell you right now you don't have to structure your life around an album rollout.
