Brodie really said Count Me Out should have been left off when that is arguably a top 5 song on Mr Morale
Opinion invalid after that
Imagine saying that when a song like Silent Hill exists
Silent Hill was never really all that to me either
Like I’ll listen to it if I’m listening to Morale through and through but I’m not a fan of it on its own and never seek it out.

Count Me Out alone is so important to the narrative of the album, not to mention Mother I Sober, without which the beef wouldn't be as hilarious
I wasn’t a fan of Purple Hearts when it first came out but it grew on me a bit
Still not one of my favorites but I love the beat now and Ghostface Killas verse is beautiful.

Everyone in this thread got different favorites anyway lol

I don't hate it, I'll listen to it all the way through whenever I'm in the mood to listen to Mr Morale but it feels like a pointless filler track that has Kendrick on autopilot the whole song, only saving grace is the kodak feature to which I surprisingly enjoyed

Yeah it was Dot taking the backseat to give the feature some shine like he did with Money Trees with Jay Rock and Complexion with Rapsody but it really would’ve made the song way better if he had actually tried with it.
Irritates me especially after the song, you get a song like Savior where he’s just rapping his ass off.

GFK top 3 for me so it was abit of a shame to see my dream collab not be over some gritty staten island type s*** lmao

Fitting for Ghostface though
He a big fan of the lush beautiful clean type of production. Kendrick probably included him with that in mind. Most people go to him trying get him on gritty NY s***.
Why would he choose to be uncredited though
It sounds like a Scoop Deville beat to me 100%
No idea tbh
But it would've been strange to have 2 people from Dre's production crew playing the instruments on the Scoop DeVille's record, who usually works alone, if he didn't do at least some additional production on it
Damn Snoop, someone tell Dot to pick up man
Nice to see Snoop not get in his feelings over the lyric and understand why it would’ve hurt Kenny’s feelings to begin with. That’s real maturity.
Kenny should pick up the phone and talk to him.

Every song on the table
Except No Make Up and We Cry Together :maury:

I’m pretty sure Dre had some sort of creative imput on GKMC and TPAB even if he didn’t directly produce on it himself.

Yeah he probably gave some advice or maybe added some small s*** here and there during the mixing process
But The Recipe actually has Trev Lawrence and Andre Brissett on it, they both are members of Dre's team and usually they are credited only when Dre is involved in production
Damn Snoop, someone tell Dot to pick up man
I know a lot of people that smile in my face
but talk behind my back every time I'm gone
so when they call my number I don't ever pick up
I don't owe you s***, b****, leave me alone
speaking of section.80 lol

Yeah i get that, i even f***ed with that wizards of poetry, more r&b type album. Just being selfish lol
can only hope this album gets or inspires ppl to start rapping fr again
this s*** got me revisiting 90s albums again like im in hs lol
